It's not that far off folks. I'll be sharing lots of holiday projects coming up over the next few weeks, so if you're still struggling with ideas, please check back frequently and don't forget also to check the other Designer Blogs from My Creative Time as we will all be sharing ideas with you. :)
Today I've used the Scallop and Stitched Circle die set
along with the All Around Christmas stamp set
and for the mini stars on the tag, I used the All Star Baby stamp set - which was the first of Emma's stamps that I got - I won it in one of her drawings and I've been in love with them ever since. LOL :)
And now for my card. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I'm not one for traditional red/green Christmas colors so anything different, even if in the red or green family, is going to catch my eye. I love these papers by Simple Stories. The colors are more burgandy/wine, olive/moss, and cream/brown. So pretty!
Sentiment/circle embellishment. I used tiny hearts for the holly berries. Cuter than plain old round berries. ;)
Bow/tag embellishment close up. Not sure if you can tell, but I used two ribbons for the bow; green and brown.

ReplyDeleteWow your card is beautiful. I love Emma's stamps.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! You are so talented. I am wondering if it is possible to mail the card with the embelishments? What is your experience with mailing?
ReplyDeletethank you so much for the lovely comments!!
ReplyDeleteOldTeacher: I mail them all the time with all the lumps and bumps they have. LOL Of course they require more postage as they have to be hand stamped (can't be run through their postage meter machine). I usually mail them in a padded envelope but not always. HTH!
WOW...Shar!! What a beautiful card...love everything about it!! Amazing!!! :)
