Spooky sentiments

You don't have to pass by Halloween dies and shapes just because you may not observe the day. There are lots of other ways to use cute shapes associated with Halloween! Here are a few examples, using Quickutz Halloween shapes for non-Halloween cards.

A 'miss you' card takes on an especially lonely feel using the QK Haunted and Oatmeal alphabets, Basic Grey spider webby paper from the Eerie collection, and a full moon. I used Martha Stewart's drippy goo border punch along the bottom and stickles too, of course.

Here is another example using the full moon and bats die, more spider webby paper and the Maddie Anne font. My hubs thinks I'm a dork. I'm always leaving him punny notes and I love you's around the house. Here's another one!

I used coiled wire to pop the bat on the inside of the card. He pops up and springs to life when the card is opened. Isn't he cute.

What non-traditional ideas can you come up with for spooky shapes meant for Halloween? Don't let it drive you batty! There are lots of frightful and delightful ways in witch you can conjure up some punny projects. ;)
