I LOVE spooky!

Even though I don't care all that much for Halloween, I LOVE Halloween dies and shapes. They can be used for so much more than just Halloween projects. Check out these spooky ideas.

Here is Grace and one of her Brownie Girl Scout friends at the Slime Explorers event in June, 2008. The girls all had so much fun making goo and slime! I have lots of pictures of Grace at this event and I knew immediately the flask die would be the perfect embellishment for them! I love the Haunted font and used it with the spooky scroll border for the title.

I cut the beakers from vellum and used cork paper for the stoppers. The "liquid" inside the beakers is cut from metallic paper, embossed with the circles embossing folder then jazzed up with stickles.

The spooky tree from the cookie cutter house and tree is a fun touch with the spooky border. Other dies used on this page are Rev flourish, 2x2 frog, nesting diamonds, and Diesel Grand alphabet.

For this love card I used the haunted font, test tube, and No.73 alphabet. I cut the stopper from cork paper. Do you get my play on words? -- Love potion number nine! The mat is a nesting label by Spellbinders and the border punch is Doily lace by Martha Stewart.

Inside I used MaryJane and Flirt fonts and the Rev frame heart.

  3. Those beakers are too cool! The circle embossing totally makes it. But all the detail is awesome.
