Grace at Lake Sylvia last spring for a girls weekend of camping, just her and her mom. Playing cards, reading and reading and reading, enjoying nature walks, and campfire at night....with NO GUYS to bug 'em! Sounds heavenly doesn't it. ;)

More nesting stars

Cards hand stamp by My Creative Time, Game Night. How could I not use it with this picture!

Lots of stamps here--grungy heart is by Tim Holtz, ticket border stamp by Paper Trey Ink, words are two different sets by My Creative Time. Ticket is from the Tim Holtz ticket border die, and mini nesting star by Quickutz. I stamped right onto my photo - cool huh. This is Stampin Up ink but I've also had success with Memento inks for stamping directly on photos.

More pumpkins!

This cute little pumpkin trio is a stamp and die set by Peachy Keen. Love the cute little faces, but the pumpkins can also be used without them. For my card today, I combined the pumpkins with flourishes and leaves to make a viney pumpkin patchy-looking embellishment. Again using scraps from my stash, I'm feeling pretty good about myself. Cuz you know what that means when you use your stuff......you have to buy new! Yeep! LOL! ;)

Sorry for the crappy photos. Not sure what's up with that the past couple days. I can't believe Halloween is already this coming weekend. It snuck up on me! But never fear, costumes and candy waiting in the closet....just in case we get any little goblins at the door this year. ;)

Product List:
Peachy Keen/Cottage Cutz pumpkin trio stamp and die set
My Creative Time sentiment, All Around Halloween stamp set
Cottage Cutz rose die {leaves}
Quickutz flourishes, Rev0024
Inks, foam tape, various pattern paper scraps

It's Tuesday and that means it's time for a Scrapbuggy project. For my card base I used the fancy frames nesting set by Lifestyle Crafts. I love the bracket shape and with several sizes in the set, you can easily stack and mat them like I did here.

The large maple leaf is one of my favorite fall dies.

I also used mini maple leaves from the Lifestyle Crafts tree/leaf border die, BDR052, and for my sentiment tag, one of the nesting lacy rectangles.

Product List:
Lifestyle Crafts nesting frames
Lifestyle Crafts nesting lacy rectangles
Lifestyle Crafts tree/leaf border, LD-BDR-052
Quickutz leaf, Rev0249
Various pattern paper scraps
Buttons, twine, computer generated text

The bandana and eye patch I cut by hand {didn't they turn out cute though!} and the sword is a QK die.

Such a perfect die for the sentiment, I couldn't not use the pirate scroll!! I love this die for journaling, but it couldn't have been any better for this card sentiment.

Thanks for coming by the studio today. I challenge you this week to alter a shape using your own imagination! You might surprise yourself. ;)

My Creative Time October Release Blog Hop and Giveaway!!!

*** GIVEAWAY ALERT ***
Today's giveaway is the set I am showcasing in my layout, Cherish This Moment!  All you have to do is leave a comment here and follow my blog by Sunday midnight to be entered in the drawing. You'll love this set, guaranteed.
EASY PEASY!!! GOOD LUCK!

I also used the XL label and new label border dies on this layout. They are so versatile, you really need the die and borders set. I'm not kidding. ;)

And my layout. Please excuse the wonky stitching....the plaid paper is not crooked like this in real life. Not sure how that happened but I hope it won't detract from the awesome stamps I'm showcasing today. Also the pearl bead shifted as I was squishing the lumps in the scanner, so I've fixed that as well. The title, Life is Beautiful, and journaling lines are both part of the Cherish This Moment set that you could win. FAB! This is grandgirl, Grace, on one of many camping trips.

Flower embellishment. As you probably know by now, flowrs are one of my most favorite things to make. :) For this one, I used Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die by Sizzix. "G" tag for Grace.

Ok, so here's the line up! You're near the end if you started here, so be sure to hop back up to Emma's blog at My Creative Time to start at the beginning.

*Please note, if you have bookmarked Veronica's blog previously, she has a new URL
so you'll need to make that change to keep up with her gorgeous work. Thanks!

Today's sneak is from the XL Label Borders set, with the previously released XL Label Die.  I love having borders that fit perfectly on this die cut!!!

For my card, you can see I used the border on only a portion of the die cut. I didn't want to stamp on the birdcage image so I left that part of the stamp uninked.

...and the sentiment. I love the grungy feel of this font, and it goes perfectly with the sort of grungy-goth look of my pattern paper.

Product List:
My Creative Time, XL Label Border stamps
My Creative Time, XL Label Die
My Creative Time, Mixed Holiday Sentiments
DCWV LaCreme stack
Pattern Paper by Pink Paislee
Quickutz raven, KS0971
Handmade ribbon flower
Martha Stewart border punch
Ribbon, button, ink

Thanks for stopping again today. Be sure to check out the other designer blogs as well and comment for your chance to win in the giveaways. Also, remember to come back Friday for the big release blog hop!! See you then!
