Fun project

ETA: Olivia's backpack tag was featured in Paper Crafts Magazine, Gifts from the Heart, April, 2008, page 41. Both Grace and Olivia started first grade this year. I can't believe it. :( As if time doesn't fly by when you have your own children, it seems to go even faster when you become a grandparent. Made this one is for a friend. I think it will look cute as can be on her scrap tote!

Cards from scraps

Love the old Basic Grey Motifica collection. Here I used scraps from these papers.

Busted!

Jeffery and the scouts on their field trip to the police station. Officer Marks is Jeffery's Aunt Steph. I used spring ring clasps to simulate handcuffs on the "tickets".

Baby's First Birthday

Logan will be 1 next month. How did that happen?? The more grandchildren you have, the faster the time flies! Here is the card I made for him. Papers are Cosmo Cricket Storytime Collection. They're so cute and so perfect for a little boy card. :)

Airplane and banner cut by hand. Letters are Heidi Swapp self-adhesive plastic thingies.

Sorry for the crooked scan. The blue is matted on black but the scanned cropped off the top and bottom.

Birthday Cards

Credit given to my friend, Debbie Gaydos, whose card design I scraplifted. Her card was published in the Aug/Sep issue of Scrapbooks, Etc. (see pg. 94) Way to go, Deb!!! Congratulations. :)

Here is my version, one feminine for my niece and one masculine for my BIL. (The inside is my own design.) I used the QK Cookie Cutter Phrases ("celebrate") and the Cookie Cutter Ovals.

Scout Camp

It's not easy scrapping crappy photos, but there are so few pictures of Jeffery's scouting experience that I felt they should be scrapped anyway. The photo in the upper right is Jeffery on the rope bridge. The rest of the photos were all taken inside the cabin, at night, and from the same spot. At least he could say he took pictures. Men. :P

Lots of QK here. The camping set is adorable...but don't let Jeffery hear me say "adorable" about his scouting page. LOL

Summer Fun *title & journaling by Gracie

"When we got home from camping it was so hot I swam in the pool with my lizard floaty. I pretended it was an alligator on the beach."
All the flowers and flourishes here are stamped and cut out by hand. The title letters are QK Moxie Classic. Love that font!

Olivia is SIX!

I used the new QuicKutz Cookie Cutter ovals and phrases (Celebrate) for this birthday card. The scallop border and variety of lettering are also QK.

Cruise card

My grampa and his dd recently returned from a cruise. How coincidental I had just received the new cruise ship QK die and had no idea what to do with it! LOL I love such happy little accidents.

Bawk!

I love how these fun cards turned out! The QK funky chicken die had been on my wishlist forever, even though I had no idea how I would use it. I finally just said, what the heck, and ordered it. These are my first creations with it. He's so cute, isn't he!

For the paper on the second card, I used WordArt and printed "bawk!?" all over the cardstock then made the card from it.

Father's Day Card

This one is for Randy in case you couldn't tell by looking. ;)
