Happy Birthday Emmy!

On Monday, Emmalyn, aka Emmy, the last of our grands {thus, there will be no sister baby in her future}, turned 4. On her birthday list were lipstick, sparkles, a sister baby and a zebra. NikkiC, my sweet friend from Melonheadz Illustrating, gave Emmy all she asked for in this adorable digi image she made specially for her. Emmy picked out a pair of zebra print pajamas when she went birthday shopping with daddy. :) The girl knows what she likes!

Emmy riding her zebra while wearing her tutu and tiara, lipstick, and carrying her sister baby, surrounded by sparkles. I just love this image! :)

The other side of the adorable lollipop holder. This super cute die is by My Creative Time, and the sweet little zebra stamp is from the Classmates Valentines stamp set.

Build a cupcake die

Click HERE to see if you are a finalist to win the Expression 2 from My Creative Time!

***
Love the cupcake die, designed by Emma Lai for Buggy Designs by Scrapbuggy! Such a cute idea with endless possibilities! Today I used it for a 'cheer up' card. I think cupcakes could cheer up anyone, don't you! :) For the base, I used a lacy rectangle from the Lifestyle Crafts nesting set.

I ran the cupcake paper through the crimper so it looks more like a real cupcake. Love the texture it adds to the page. I also added foam tape so it pops for more dimension. Isn't the butterfly cute? It also comes with this die, as does the heart.

Sentiment is by My Creative Time, from the Turn That Frown Upside Down collection.

For my first project today, I am using Classy and Fabulous. Are these magnets not fabulous!? And Classy? LOL I love these and decided these would make super cute magnets after the set I made the other day. {Emma doesn't know this yet--unless she's reading--but some of these are on their way to her mailbox at this very moment!} This time I did the magnets a little different, and I like them even better! I covered these in embossing powder so they can be wiped of any finger prints. What a fun idea for stocking stuffers. You can use any stamp set - images or letters and numbers would be adorable for kids to learn spelling and counting; purses and other cute girly things would be great babysitter gifts or for the kids lockers at school. The possibilities are limitless!

I also made a card using the Classy and Fabulous set. So cute!!! The sentiment as well as the adorable little coffee mug are part of this set. A must have. :)

Isn't this cute!

And, I couldn't not embellish this adorable sentiment. So I made a stick pin, specifically for this card, in colors to match this gorgeous Madison Avenue paper by My Mind's Eye. The soft pink and brown shades are so perfect for a coffee theme. Mmmm, I do enjoy my coffee. :)

If you are just starting the hop here, hop on over to Emma's blog at My Creative Time to start at the beginning. You really don't want to miss a single one with such an awesome Grand Prize, just sayin' !
