For today's project we combined all three makes into one piece. I love how it turned out. Toni's genius shines through with every project! Take a look.
First we made the acetate-tuck journaling spot for the front cover.

This project was really fun. I used a digital kit from Margareth of Seven Plaza and followed along with Crafty By Toni to create these great pocket tags. I love makes that allow you to use previously made ephemera and/or embellishments you have made that are just waiting for the right project. The tickets and tag tags are two of the makes that we did in Mass Make March, and I love how they are perfect for these pocket tags.
I'm such a slacker. I have had the hardest time with this month's 3 under 30 challenge but I'm trying! Because I have always been a pretty slow crafter, this under 30 minutes things is tough. And then we need to make 3 things not just 1. Sigh. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining! I love crafty challenges, so here is my attempt today's project. I cannot tell a lie, I did not finish these in under 30 minutes...it was actually closer to 40. Oh well.
Today I'm sharing another gorgeous design by i.daizee (tutorial here). If you don't follow her you tube channel and Insta yet, you are totally missing out. I love her beautiful makes, and this one is no exception. Can you even!? Plus, this one is made from one sheet of 12x12 double sided paper. Amazing. Check it out below.
#jj3under30 - This challenge is the hardest one I think I've tried. I am a notoriously slow crafter (well, notorious in my mind anyway LOL) so trying to complete 3 projects in 30 minutes is extremely intimidating!! BUT I actually did it. Once. We'll see if I can come up with something to do 3 in 30 again before the end of the month.
While I had the materials out, I decided to make a couple more tags. The Infusions are so beautiful (I searched for them in all my online stores as well as Amazon, and the only place I was able to order them from is Simon Says Stamp. So if you haven't had any luck finding them, that's the place to go!
The first tag (same size as the one I posted the other day) is approximately 6x3 inches. Again, using The Sage Infusions powder, I then used pearl white embossing paste and the Tim Holtz Flourish stencil over the top, lightly inked over it with brown, then stamped before adding the final embellishments. Photos on both tags are both from a digital file by Vibe of Vintage Printables.
Before I left on vacation, I had purchased a couple of the Infusions powders by Paperartsy. Have you seen them? They are pretty cool. The effect is similar to combining distress ink colors and spritzing with water, but easier to use and dare I say less 'messy' (which, really, I don't consider the inks to be all that messy), but anyway.... Super love them!! The one/color I used here (yes, just one) is The Sage.
Seems a lot longer since my last post than it actually has been. Regardless, I have some new goodies to share. Firstly, I missed this corrugated cardboard cluster when I shared pics in my last post so here's that.
This next project started from a kit by Vibe of Vintage printables that I have been adding to until I felt it was a finished piece. I've incorporated pieces from other kits into this one as well, so it kind of isn't like the projected end result at all. Not worried about it, after all, isn't that the point of being creative? You'll see pieces in this one from other digital kits too, including Art House Whimsy and SevenPlaza.
