Remembering those who gave their all for the rest of us to live free. God bless them, one and all.
In honor of those we remember today, I made this tag using the Heidi Swapp stamp set, USA. Thank you for looking.

Another grandgirl is turning 20 in about two weeks. Most of our grands are like that - 2 the same age within months of each other. :) The oldest and youngest are on their own, but the middle 6 birthdays are almost like triplets. LOL
These little clipboard dies from Heidi Swapp are the cutest little guys ever! I had to use one of the card. Well, because they are so stinkin cute. :) I should have placed a ruler near for perspective but I forgot. The small one is approx 2 3/4 x 2 inches, and the large one is about 4 1/4 x 3 1/4.
Happy birthday, Mila! No longer a teenager - what?! Have a great birthday, sweet girl. Love you bunches!
For Mila's birthday card, I made a jumbo tag with mini tags attached. This was such fun to make. All Heidi Swapp, except for the cupcake and wish big sentiment, which are My Favorite Things.
Disclaimer: Wouldn't you know, after I made all (well, most) the family birthday cards the next Heidi release is Happy Birthday?! Murphy's Law strikes me again. Hahaha! You'll be seeing a lot from that release in upcoming posts for sure.
This time we have a vellum overlay on the front of the card, plus a pocket for a gift card or pull out message tag.
Today's card is a clear-front card, made with plastic paper (a little different from acetate as it is much heavier and sturdy). I love the way it turned out and will use this technique again. For more info, check out Heidi Swapp's Birthday Wishes Stamp Therapy class here.
Isn't it the cutest.
This pocket card has a pull-out jumbo tag inside where you can add lots more messages. It would be a great one for a co-worker, for example, as there is so much room for many signatures and sentiments from friends and loved ones...or make it just from you. 😊 It's a fun project for sure.
For this card, we made a pocket with a window and pull out tag/card. I love all the tons of fun party/birthday sentiments using several Heidi Swapp birthday and party themed stamps sets. Distress Oxide ink colors used on this one are Lucky Clover, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and a DIY custom blend.
All these fun labels stamps and dies are new from Heidi Swapp. We used lots of them here and even created the window with the largest die.The newest Stamp Therapy class from Heidi Swapp is up! If you love making unconventional cards or want to learn some great techniques you can use in your card making, or if you struggle with birthday cards, give this class a try. There are 10 lessons in the class and so many fun ideas. This is just one of them; I'll be sharing more as I continue the class. Also note that once you purchase the class, you can take it as many times as you like and all at your own pace.
Here's a pocket tag card.
These party and birthday stamp sets from Heidi Swapp are so much fun to create a party themed project. The fringe and banners, balloons, and tuck away tags are adorable. The tiny tag with the letter stickers add the perfect finishing touch.
Tag card, which really is a card. Cut out your tag on a fold and you have an opening tag. You can do this with pretty much any shape and if you have dies, even easier. I love adding something a little unexpected to all of my projects, and I know mom will like it.
Stamp sets for this one are Heidi Swapp are Mar 24 Stamp Society (background textures), Sep 22 Stamp Society (florals), Jan 21 Stamp Society (love you), Party Decor (happy, day, banners).
Inside:When I started this one, what was in my mind is absolutely nothing like what I ended up creating. Even the color scheme is a 180 from my original plan. But I so love how it turned out and wanted to share it with you. Maybe the other idea I had will come out on another day. LOL! Here we go.
Jumbo tag with two mini tag additions. I love hanging tags on tags, as you probably know. :) All these items are from Heidi Swapp with the exception of the dictionary paper which I tore from an old broken dictionary I picked up at the thrift store some years ago for this very purpose. I think it just adds a touch of 'vintage' along with the pink and brown. Is it just me....or does everyone think pink and brown equals vintage? Anyway....
All of the elements (except the dictionary paper) are from various Stop the Blur monthly kits.
