Mass Make March, Day 28

Day 28: EMBELLISHED PRICE TAGS

Today we took tags from clothing and whatever other purchases you might have made, covered them with Tim Holtz papers, and embellished them with some of the goodies we've made in previous mass makes. I rummaged through my closet and dresser drawers and came up with 16 tags I could use for today's project. I was so bummed I hadn't saved any tags, so when I found all of these I was so excited! I will be saving them from now on you can be sure. They make fantastic bases for creating!!

Of the sixteen I covered, I finished ten of them. The others will go in the 'magic drawer' to be ready for decorating for future projects. (They are the ones in the upper right corner.)
How it started:

Aren't they cool? These particular tags are very sturdy, so when covered they are really nice and heavy.

I love them all!

Mass Make March, Day 26

Day 26: DYED PAPER. STAMPED AND PAINTED EPHEMERA

Most of these started with Tim Holtz, Curator stamp set. And all cut by hand. You know how much I love (sarcasm!) fussy cutting. LOL

Day 25 updated; finished ID cards

Finished all the vintage ID cards from Tuesday's mass make March project and I love them! I did add a little more stuff to the two I had originally posted. But anyway, aren't these so cool?!

Mass Make March, Day 25 (day 24 coming soon)

Day 24 will be Faux Rusty Signs. At the moment, I'm playing catch up while waiting for some goodies I have on order to complete the rusty signs project. So stay tuned. You're going to love it!!

Day 25: VINTAGE ID CARDS

Today we used Toni's awesome stamp set, Identity Card. I completed two cards, and have ten more ready to finish. Super fun stamp set and I've learned so much about making grungy and vintage looking projects. What do you think? Aren't they cute, though.

Finished cards measure approximately 2 3/4 x 3 1/2 inches.

Mass Make March, Day 23

Day 23: MINI FOLIOS w/ 6X6 PAPER

These were fun. I love making them. How I'll use them is a mystery HAHAHA but they'll be cool on the projects I use them in. Most likely junk journals and such. So quick and easy to slap them together. We decorated them, but you don't have to do that until you know what project you'll use them on if you want to coordinate the papers or whatever.

For this one, I used two matching 6x6 papers; plus more.

When opened all the way out....
...this one measures 16 inches. I love i.

Mass Make March, Day 22

 Day 22: GRUNGY EPHEMERA DANGLES

Maybe I went a little overboard on this one....I made 30 of them. LOL Some are large, and I wanted more small ones so I kept going. I think they're pretty cool. Some of this ephemera I have had for nearly 20 years,  you guys....! I don't remember where I got them or what company made them, or why I had to hoard them for so long, but I'm happy I got them out and used some of them. Others are Tim Holtz, and still more are some of the digitals I had printed but hadn't used yet.

Here are the finished pieces.

I think this one is my favorite. Look at the grunge! It makes it look like an old rusty sign!!!
Another fave.

And I still have a dozen more to grunge up. I'm sort of playing catch-up on a couple of days as I wait for the Amazon truck. HAHA I don't even want to count up how many orders I've placed since starting mass make March. Whatever you do, do NOT tell hubby. HAHA

Mass Make March, Day 21

Day 21: PAPER STRIPS

Chill day creating fun strips you can use for borders or cut them apart and use only a piece. Great to have on hand for a fun extra element in a journal or scrapbook page. Similar to what we did with the washi strips.

Mass Make March, Day 18, 19, 20

We have been buzzing in the craft room this month, and I'm loving every minute. Don't look for my desk or worktop, however, because you probably won't even find it in here! Haha I have quite a delicious stash of beautiful vintage shabby goodies for upcoming projects, and that makes me so happy. :) Let's get to it.

Day 18: FAUX GLASSINE POCKETS

I've never been much for the glassine envies etc. but I created some anyway just to have them. They were super simple and really fun to decorate (I had never thought of decorating them- how silly of me!) But the coolest thing - you do not need to buy glassine paper. I used regular baking parchment from my kitchen. And I love them. Who knew!?

Various sizes; I didn't even measure them as I didn't make them for specific projects
I used goodies we made from previous days mass-makes to decorate them.

Day 19: INTERACTIVE JUNK JOURNAL INSERTS

Fun! I used a couple of file folders and kraft card stock to make all these little baby journal inserts. That largest is 4x6 inches. So cute, and so fun. I decorated a few of them, but not the largest ones yet.

Please ignore my inky fingers and grungy nails. Distress inking wreaks havoc.

Day 20: GRUNGY SNIPPETS

This is how they started. I like to do all my stamping at once then cut them. You can cut the paper first and stamp individually if you prefer. I find it goes faster this way because I'm so indecisive it takes me forever to choose a stamp/s for one piece. LOL
