Halloween Everyday, Spooky Specimen Slides

Goodness, how fun are these specimen slides we made for the junk journal? I keep all my packaging from cutting pads for the Big Shot and this is one awesome way to use them. These are alcohol ink splattered for a super cool, grungy, and buggy look for these bugs. Too much fun. Thank you so much to Toni for sharing her amazing and wonderfully creepy ideas for this journal!!! Check out her you tube series, Halloween Everyday. 

I used copic inks for this as they are alcohol inks and I don't have any other alcohol ink. They work great and the look of them on acetate is so cool looking.

For these, I used E35, chamois; YG95, pale olive, and I think a little YG93, grayish yellow as well. The bugs are all Tim Holtz designs.
