My Favorite Things, Color Challenge #193

Here's another card for the My Favorite Things color challenge #193. I love these colors together and just kept on coloring, so I ended up with quite a few images to create with. I didn't really have a card in mind, just a theme. Anyway, here you go.

Again with a beachy summer theme, I love the adorable piggies in the new MFT set called Pig Time Fun.
For the water background, I used the Scallop Stripe clear background stamp with MFT Summer Splash ink, a just a touch of Sno Cone ink for the barely visible sky. The sand is actually cork paper by DCWV and cut with a scallop die for a fun waters edge look.
The cute little sand pail, crab, and palm tree are from a MFT set called Island Shel-ebration.

My Favorite Things Combined Challenges

Today's card combines both Sketch #602 and Color Challenge #193. I love this color combo! Let me know what you think.

I love nautical themes and this one was such fun with these colors. These adorable images are Float Your Boat by Catherine Pooler from the Essentials by Ellen Summer of Stamping collaboration. They are such fun to color. The sentiment is from the Sunny Vibes stamp set from My Favorite Things.

The stitched scallop edge die is from the (retired) Basic Stitch Lines die set from My Favorite Things.
The background design elements are from the Organic Elements stamp set, also by Essentials by Ellen.
Foam tape is a given, am I right?

Honey Bee Stamps

I guess I have not been paying attention, as I didn't realize the Honey Bee Stamps does card classes in their Facebook group. So, it made me happy to see there was a class yesterday and I decided to participate. I have suitable substitutions for the products used (see list below), and I liked Kelley's tropical design. Here is my take on her class!

My tropical flowers are by Altenew, from the Totally Tropical set. The leaves and flowers Kelley used from Honey Bee Stamps can be found here. My leaves are by My Favorite Things, from a long retired set that I don't know the name of. The sentiment is from the Wish You Were Here stamp set by Honey Bee Stamps.

I used the ink colors Kelley used, except that I don't have them all in the oxide version, so I used my distress ink cubes and the seemed to work just fine for how I needed them. I love the salvaged patina for the "water" background. For my sandy beach, I used a piece of cork paper by DCWV. It works so great for sand.
Of course, because I am me and that's what I do, I added just a couple of small pieces of foam tape behind the flowers.

Product List:
Honey Bee Stamps, Wish You Were Here sentiment set
Distress Ink cubes in colors listed in the class supply list
My Favorite Things, leaf dies
Altenew, Totally Tropical stamps and dies
Die Cuts With a View, 6x6 cork paper pad
Papertrey Ink, White cardstock
Copic Xpress it blending card
Enamel dots, foam tape, clear drops

Simon Says Stamp, July card kit

Simon Says Stamp's July card kit includes Simple Stories Vintage Lemon Twist papers, which you know I LOVE. Combined with their new lemons stamp set, I couldn't not order it. What can I say, I caved almost immediately when I saw it. LOL Here's a card using the kit and a couple of other things. There will be more soon.

I used gold embossing powder around the edges of the card panel and for stamping the lemons elements. The sentiment with the bird on it is one of the papers in the Lemon Twist 6x8 paper pad. The lemon and flower stamps are from the Simon Says Stamps July card kit, You Shine. Coordinating dies also available but not part of the card kit I found out after I ordered.
Hope you like. I'm a sucker for lemons (ha! PUN).
