My Creative Time, Guest Designer Spot

Happy Friday, and welcome to my Alumni Guest Spot for My Creative Time! I have a couple of projects for you today so let's take a look. For my Easter card, I used several MCT products, including the adorable new Jr. Rolled flower dies. They are such a great size.

In addition to the Jr. Flowers, I also used the chalkboard die from the Write On stamp and die set, and the  Mini Chalkboard tags set.

These adorable Easter baskets are for my sweet little neighbor munchkins. The basket is a cut file from Cricut Design Space, and the bunny and chick are by KaDoodle Bug Designs.

I added the Fun Sized bow to the hatching chick, and for the tag sentiments I used the Mini Chalkboard Tags and Hello Chickie stamp sets.

The sentiment on the bunny's egg is also from the Hello Chickie stamp set.

CASology, Spring Challenge

Hi! Today's card is for CASology.

The focus for this challenge is Spring. I think I achieved that with these awesome stamps and dies by My Favorite Things, called Scribble Flowers. I love these. Background mat by My Creative Time; sentiment by Paper Smooches.

A little foam tape, you know, cuz I love that stuff.

My Creative Time Challenge

It's been awhile since I joined the challenge at My Creative Time! But I'm back today so here goes. :) For my entry I used both the sketch and color palette. But then I went a step further and made some adorable little bunny butts to go with the card. Can you guess what I used to make these sweet little guys??

I like the simple design of this sketch so I left it exactly as it was pictured, using the colors of the palette.

But then....bunny butts! Eeek! They turned out so sweet, and are so very simple to make. These would be perfect for Sunday School class, or classroom party. Start with Hershey nuggets candies and wrap them with the candy wrap from the My Creative Time Slider Treat Box die set. To make the ears, cut the double leaf piece from the Pretty Flowers and Leaves die set; and for the feet, cut two of the center oval from the Stitched Daisy Die. Using a marker, color the pads on the feet, then attach with mini glue dots and add a cute little pompom for the tail. Done! :)

There is still plenty of time to join this month's challenge. Head on over to Emma's blog at My Creative Time and link up your project. :) Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Melonheadz Friends, Spring Challenge

Happy Monday! Today brings the new challenge at Melonheadz Friends. This week's challenge is Spring. I used the Bugs Combo Pack for my card using foam tape to attach the butterfly and bees. The ladybug is also in this set.

The "spring" title is from the Easter 2011 set - I used just part of the full sentiment, cut it in a flag banner shape and added a mat.

Here you can see the dimension you get from the foam tape. I love that stuff and use it a LOT.

My Favorite Things, Sketch Challenge 221

It's Thursday, good people! Or as I like to call it Friday Eve. :) Friday is my favorite day, so it seems fitting. LOL

Today's card is the current sketch challenge at My Favorite Things card challenge blog. For my card I used the Blueprints 22 and Blueprints 1 Die-Namics die sets. Stamps are the Scribble Flowers and the sentiment is from BB Somebunny. Teeny baby buttons from my stash for the final embellishment.

I stamped the scribble flowers onto vellum then cut the rounded corner mat and adhered it to a piece of pattern paper, also cut with that die. I cut the sentiment using the Blueprints 1 set then cut the end at an angle just for interest.

I cut the heart three times and heat embossed one of them for the top, then layered them with foam tape before adding the sentiment tag.
