5 Days of Christmas, Day 5

Another idea inspired by Pinterest -- who doesn't love that place for crafty ideas, right!? I made this for my mail lady. I hope she's not allergic to scents, because these tealight candles are my very favorite for the holidays. They burn in my house all winter and smell delicious....cranberry. Mmmmm!! Makes me want to get busy baking!

Easy embellishment on the front using MCT Rolled Flower dies, curly label and stitched curly lable dies. Sentiment is from the Fright Night stamp set.

Inside is the gift tag in a window pocket, and the candle box, which is actually apart of the card itself. I love this project!

Tag using the MCT large tag, tag topper, and jingle bells dies. Sentiment from the set, From Our Family to Yours.

I hope you've enjoyed these last minute Christmas ideas. Even though our 5 days are finished, don't expect me to stop posting. *wink wink* I have so many more ideas and plan to keep crafting away; I hope to have plenty of time to share even more ideas with my best bloggy buds - YOU! - in the days before Christmas so please come back for more. ♥

5 Days of Christmas, Day 4

Welcome to another day of last minute Christmas ideas. I made an ornament for today's project, inspired by Pinterest and the trek across the country by my bestie and her hubs. I love the way it turned out and hope my bff will like it too! :) Tags are dies by My Creative Time

Here it is, the Family Truckster, complete with oversized Christmas tree for their new digs!

Tiny tag with sentiment from Post Card Add-Ons; computer generated message on the Treat Slider candy wrap.

Ok, peeps, tomorrow is the last day of our 5 Days of Christmas, so be sure to come back for the final installment. ♥

MCT 5 Days of Christmas, Day 3

Today's projects are delicious. Winter weather is here and it's definitely time to cozy up by the fire, or if you don't have that luxury (I do not, I'm afraid) snuggle with and blanket and and a good book, or hubby LOL, with a cup of hot cocoa. Or cider if you prefer. Either way, My Creative Time has the perfect products to embellish your goodie gifts.

Hot spiced cider is my winter morning beverage, cocoa for evenings, and coffee in between. I'm always freezing and these hot treats help to keep me warm!

This pocket has a window so you can see what you're getting. In case the apple on the front doesn't click. LOL

The other pockets are made using the scalloped edge envelope die. I added the cocoa mug from the Do The Cocoa Motion stamp set.....

....added liquid embroidery/puffy pain for the marshmallows and whipped cream -- it looks real enough to eat!

and a belly band to tuck in a candy cane for stirring!

For this one I used the adorable new mini-bow die to embellish the stir stick.

Love this little die!

Thank you for stopping by today. Hopefully you're getting lots of inspiration for any last minute hostess gifts or other gift giving ideas that pack a punch and are still easy on the wallet. More goodness tomorrow....see you then! ♥

MCT 5 days of Christmas, Day 2

Are you stoked for the rest of the 5 Days projects? I'm having a blast, myself! Here's a fun card for a special person on your holiday list. I love the squatty jar die by My Creative Time, and used it as the window for my shaker card.

For filler, the super cute little jingle bell die that comes with the ornaments seemed to be the perfect fit. I cut them from shiny silver cardstock and added tiny bows to each one using the die from the Party banner die. Twine wrapped around the jar lid gives it a rustic look, and the holly and pinecone add a festive touch. The adorable little tag and sentiment are also by MCT.....

...as well as the inside message and jingle bell stamp. So cute!

I love how pretty the bells look in this silver foil paper (thank you, Miss Kim, for this awesome RAK!). And thanks for coming by to see my project today, crafty bloggers. I hope you'll be back tomorrow cuz I got more craftyness up my sleeve! ♥

5 Days of Christmas, Day 1

Welcome, welcome, to the first of the 5 Days of Christmas with the My Creative Time Design Team! I love holiday crafting, it's my most favorite, so this week is going to be especially fun for me. I hope you will enjoy the projects I have to share with you.

Up first are these super cute Snowman Soup Mugs and Toasty Gloves gifts. These are the perfect gift, or gifts if you wish to split them up, for a neighbor, mailman, teacher, hairdresser, or to have on hand for drop-in visitors throughout the holiday season.

For my chipboard tag, I used staz-on ink and the 'warm wishes' sentiment from Do The Cocoa Motion stamp set. Each mug contains a bag of mini marshmallows, packet of cocoa, and a candy cane stirring stick.

For the gloves, I made a simple topper using the tri-fold card. The paper is so cute it doesn't really need a tag, unless you were to give it as a gift on its own. In this case, I'll give the gloves along with the mugs.

Another sweet snowman soup and gloves gift. I went to pick up a couple more of these mugs yesterday and they are all gone!!! I love this blue one and wish I had grabbed two so I could keep one for myself. LOL

There you go, Day 1. Isn't this a fun idea. So simple, but these simple embellishments make a great presentation. Who wouldn't enjoy hot cocoa on a cold winter morning, and extra gloves to keep in the car, your purse, or coat pocket. Thanks for coming today. I'll be here all week, folks! See you tomorrow. ♥
