Scrapping The Little Things

Welcome to the Studio. Thank you for joining me for another Scrapping the Little Things Monday. Grab a cuppa your morning bev of choice and enjoy!

Today's scrapbook page features Mila's mustache. Here she sports a lovely curled mustache and manly eyebrows. At the Spring Fair she went to the face painting booth and asked specifically for a mustache. :) Soon, all the kids wanted mustaches, even the teen boys who had seen her handsome faux facial hair!! LOL

Embellishments on this page are really simple. I hand-cut all the flags and doodled on them with sharpie. The hearts are My Creative Time Layering Heart Dies. I love those guys.

Love the teeny mustache in the MCT, Here's Lookin' at You stamp set. I 'made' the title words using bits and parts of different words from the Chocolate Greetings and More Chocolate Greetings sets. The Type Calendar set matches perfectly to the other words I used on my page.

Again, I pieced her name using multiple stamps, but the rest of these fun words are from the Tab Notes stamp set. I cut each of the labels by hand and sharpie-doodled on these as well! Fun page! Thanks for coming by. I hope you have lots of time for craftyness this week.

MCT Designer Challenge, Winter Holiday Tag

I love challenges. This week's challenge is by Katie and I really had fun with it. Katie's challenge is to make a Winter Holiday Tag. For the tag itself, I used the large photo frame die.

Then I took my tag a couple of steps further and made it shaker ornament tag! Shakers have always been such fun for me to make and I'm so happy to see them making a "come back" after being something of a dormant embellishment the past few years. For filler, I used snowflake confetti in silver and blue, with a mix of white, clear, and blue glass seed beads. For hanging, I ran the twine through a matching bead and knotted the end.

Embellishing was fun and easy. Flowers made from the MCT Rolled Flowers dies; add a mini pine cone and paper punch branches, and done. :)

Paper Smooches

I LOVE this photo for the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge! Who can resist red polka dots??? I would love to sleep in this room. :) But I digress.....I used this photo as the inspiration for my Sparks Design Team submission card below. 

I based my card on the FanciFul Fall stamps and dies sets by Paper Smooches.

I love the little toadstool house and made it by stamping, piecing and coloring. Polka dots!!!!

The sentiment for my sign is from the Get Outta Town stamp set; tree and mushroom, again from the Fanciful Fall collection.

The heart and squirrel are also from Fanciful Fall. The inside sentiment is by My Creative Time from the Home Sewn stamp set.

Inspire Me Tuesday

Welcome to the Studio! Here we are with another installment of Inspire Me Tuesday. I don't have any one inspiration piece to show you today. I was searching for something completely different when I came across the cutest cupcake cards on Pinterest. They were all the inspiration I needed to make this card for Emmy's 6th birthday, coming up next week!

For my cupcake shape, I used the Cricut Cartridge, Create a Friend.

The adorable scallop lace paper bow is a die by My Creative Time.

Bunny is also from the Create a Friend cartridge. Banners stamps and sentiments by My Creative Time.

 And as a special bonus, BUNNY WOBBLES! :) I think Emmy will like her dancing bunny.
