Favorite Stamp of the Month

Welcome to this months fave stamp sets. This month we are showcasing two My Creative Time sets; Mixed Holiday Sentiments, which I used here, and Piles of Smiles, which I used for my second card. BOTH of these sets can be purchased in the MCT store, for FREE SHIPPING until November 15! Better go grab 'em!!

The chunky jar die makes a perfect shaker for my leaves! I added some twine and a teeny button to the jar lid, and for my sentiment I used the Fun Ticket die.

Leaf confetti and seed beads for filler.

For my second card I used Piles of Smiles; and "greetings" from the Fright Night set. The mini leaves and pumpkins are mini dies included with the All Around Holidays set.

I just love the bushel of pumpkins! The sentiment fit on this die perfectly.

Tag-it Tuesday with My Creative Time

We managed to make it through another Monday, which means today is Tuesday tags. :) I used leftover paper scraps from my layout yesterday to make this little gift tag.

Every piece was something I had cut but didn't make it to my scrapbook page. I love using leftovers! The tiny banner is from Vintage Label and Banner. To get this new size, I cut the piece the length I wanted it, ran it through on the die and cut one end; then I placed the piece back in the die matching up the stitching (which is not at all as difficult as it sounds) with the cut end over the points and ran it through again. Voila! Double ended fishtail tag in a new size. Tiny sentiment from the All Around Goodies stamp set.

The flower embellishment is made using the flower petal dies again, leaf dies, and the small button flower die from the stitched buttons dies.

Product List:
My Creative Time, Tag, topper and arrow die
My Creative Time, Vintage Label and banner die
My Creative Time, Stitched leaves
My Creative Time, Flower Petals
My Creative Time, Stitched Buttons

Scrapping The Little Things with My Creative Time

Welcome to another week and another Scrapping the Little Things. Today's scrapbook page really is about the little things...my littlest grandgirl, Emmalyn aka Emmy. :) She's wearing her cousin, Gracie's, glasses. Isn't it funny how much little kids like to try on glasses. She's so cute in them too!

I used the flower petals and scalloped circle for my flowers, in addition to couple of punches and buttons.

More flowers, cuz of course I luv 'em! My title sentiment  and cute glasses are from the Here's Lookin' at You stamp set and the tags are from the Chunky Jar Accessories die set.

Product List:
My Creative Time, Flower Petals
My Creative Time, Scalloped Circle
My Creative Time, Here's Lookin' at You
My Creative Time, Vintage label and banner
My Creative Time, Chocolate Greetings flag
Papers are an older collection by Crate Paper called Cowgirl Collection

Peachy Keen Challenge 13-44, Leaves

Guess what day it is....no silly, it's not hump day, it's my favorite FRIDAY! Yippee!! :) I hope your weekend is full of fun and relaxation. And crafting if you're so inclined! Today I'm sharing this card I made for the current Peachy Keen Challenge, 13-44: Just cards - Leaves. I love leaves. But you probably already know that if you follow this blog. :) Here's my finished card using the PK1340, Clearly Autumn Quart Jar Contents set.

This lovely sentiment is included in that set as well. I used a Quickutz label die for the sentiment, and cut out the leaf stamp adding a button and twine to make my embellishment.

Using the fall leaf in this set, I stamped and clear embossed a background of leaves, then made a rainbow affect with my Tim Holtz distress inks. I like it! Hope you do too. :)
