Super quick sewing project if you're running low on time but need a super cute handmade gift. Cut the leg off a pair of jeans to make capris and save those cut off pieces! This little wristlet was made from a child size pant leg. As you can see, it doesn't take much fabric!

I used MCT Circle Font stamp set to personalize this one for little Emmy who just turned 5. She's likes having her name on things that belong to her....I can't blame her with 3 older sibs at home!!! ;) Even the denim flower was made using the MCT Rolled Flower die.

This is how I did the strap. Simple eyelet and binder ring. The ribbon I trimmed the bag with is the perfect size for the strap. I stitched the ends closed so it will be durable.

And the closure is sew in hook and loop tape (aka, velcro) If I make one of these again, I think I'll use a zipper. The stuff is a pain in the butt to sew in. Mind you, I've been sewing for nearly 35 years and I would still prefer to put in a zipper than this stuff. I figured this would be easier for Emmy's little hands though so velcro it is.

Thanks for looking. Peeps, we have just one day left of the hop, so if you've missed any days previous, now's the time to get caught up so you can be entered to win the big prize package, Emma's 12 Favorite Things! Here is the link where you can find the other designer blogs to get you started....or finished, as the case may be.

Today I'm sharing another pant leg tote bag. {here's the first one in case you missed it} So simple and cute! I love repurposing, as you may know by now, but using outgrown, holey kneed jeans is one of my all time favorite ways to recycle. These little bags are so quick and easy to make and the girls just love them. The fringe couldn't be any simpler either. I just took a strip of the denim and cut it with scissors, snip, snip, snip, then sewed it into the bottom seam of the bag. Minimal effort, maximum impact! :)

Emma's stamps work beautifully on fabric! I used staz-on to personalize this one for grandgirl, Mila, and made this denim flower using the MCT Rolled Flower die. Had this super cute cloth covered button in my stash for the flower center and it goes perfectly with the red gingham drawstring ribbon.

This is the back of the bag. I tied the ribbon through buttons and knotted the ends not only cuz it looks cute but also to prevent the drawstring from becoming lost inside the casing. Works great.

We're only a couple of days away from the big drawing so I hope you're all caught up on commenting throughout the previous days hopping! You still have plenty of time to do that if you haven't been able to comment daily. MCT 12 Days of Christmas, Day 9

HUGE GIVEAWAY ALERT

Today I'm sharing another ornament, I hope you're not tiring of them! They are so much fun to make and I know my mom will love them. This one, believe it or not, is very simple VERY simple. Styrofoam ball, paper flowers of your choice {I made these using My Creative Time rolled flower die}, hot glue. Anything else you want to add is optional. Make your flowers {how many will depend on the size of your ball}, hot glue to the styrofoam. That's it! I used a paper clip for the hanger - just stuck in into the ball, pulled it out and filled the hole with glossy accents then replaced it till it dried.

Here it is posing for photos on my tree. LOL So pretty. I may just have to make some for myself....in MY colors of course. :) You can add corsage pins, if you like, to fill any gaps between the flowers, tie a ribbon at the top if you want to and again, optional, using another paper clip, add a piece of tulle, ribbon, string beads or whatever to the bottom for decoration. I sprayed a very light coat of Midnight Glimmer Mist over it before adding stickles to the edges of the flower petals.

A little closer view and for some reason the colors are more true in this view. Papers are BoBunny, Snowfall.

This is, well, a crooked photo of the back.

That's all there is to it. Didn't take long at all to do this one as I used about a 2", I think it is, styrofoam ball. Just a little guy. Remember the flowers will add another inch or so to the overall size so you may not want to go too big to start with. And of course a larger ball will require more flowers too. Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed this one and will try making some yourself. They would also make pretty tie-ons for your packages; like giving two gifts instead of one!

Be sure to check the store blog for links to the other designer blogs so you don't miss any deliciousness. Also, the more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win Emma's 12 Favorite Things prize package at the end of the 12 days, and remember to leave your contact info in your comments.

Check out these adorable little place tags. I used the teensy sized terra cotta pot, spray painted white and turned them upside down for the sweetest little snowmen around. Add a sweet peachy face (see product list for link), scarf and hat or earmuffs and name tag.

In this case, I didn't have any pink fleece leftover, so I rummaged through the toybox in the spare room and came out with this tiny pink baby sock!!! It subs perfectly for a hat until I can get some fleece. So sweet, isn't it. They each hide a piece of candy for an after dinner treat. :)

For this little guy I used leftover fleece from one of the kidlets' blankets I did for them one Christmas. For the name tags, I used MCT ornament dies and stamped their initials using the Circle Font stamp using a tiny safety pin to attach to the hat.

And look at these super cutie patootie ear muffs, would you!!! Simple piece of wire, cut circles of fleece and glue together  - done! This was such a fun project. The kids will love these as much as they enjoyed the pilgrim hats on turkey day. :)

Well, we're over halfway through the 12 Days now. Have you been keeping up?! You KNOW you want to win Emma's 12 Favorite Things so be sure to catch up if you aren't yet. Can't win it you don't enter, right?!

Today I've made this little coffee invite using the My Creative Time fancy 3x3 envelope die. I love this little guy! It can be used in so many ways. Here I've tucked in some of my favorite coffee candies for a little teaser. To size the envelope to accommodate the thickness of the candies, I simply scored again just outside the pre-scored lines on the die. This makes a little pocket rather than a slim envelope. I used the banner die for my tag and heat embossed the coffee beans.

I couldn't very well do a coffee invite without the super cute coffee cup die! I made this one festive using pretty Christmassy colored paper and buttons, and added the jingle bells with twine just for fun!
