My Creative Time Design Team Day

Welcome to my design team project for My Creative Time! This week's assignment was to use the awesome Camera Shy stamp set on a project of our choice. As a scrapbooker, I have to say, this set is one of my favorites for layouts! I love the larger size font and let's face it, most of our scrapbook pages include photos, right?! LOL. So this is perfect.

Here are three of my eight grands; 2 are sibs, all are cousins. Logan is such a boy isn't he. As soon as he saw the camera {no matter how hard I tried to hide it!} he had to make a face or be silly. LOL!

Isn't the camera stamp adorable. I love it. You can see how I embellished it with stickles for the flash, lens and light. So cute.

This set is perfect for titles if you don't feel like using the cricut, cutting letters from your dies, or printing from the computer.

Cute party favors

Who wouldn't want to be at the beach sipping a cool drink or relaxing by the pool in the heat of summer!?? I'm all over that! Well, it looks like I am, doesn't it. LOL ;)

More from the tropical splash release, here I've used the adorable paper lei and drink umbrellas. What fun for a pool party or luau party favors.

I found the cute tiki cups at the dollar store and for the spacers in the lei I cut plastic straws, also from the dollar store. The pink lemonade, pineapple and watermelon were refreshing and so delicious! :)

Loving the tropical splash release! Turns out it's perfect to showcase Mila's artwork. I love that her mom takes pictures of it for me to preserve in her scrapbook albums. She does some awesome art, yo!

Journaling reads:
Mila's first grade class went on a field trip to the zoo and aquarium when they were learning about shells and sea life. They all made fish to decorate the classroom.

Fishy accents with super cool clear pebble bubbles. Love these things and always forget to use them. They've been in my stash for {oh my gosh who knows how many} years!

Birthday card

Olivia will turn 10 years old later this month. On my sister's birthday, in fact. We have lots of duplicate and even some triplicate birthdays in our family. It's crazy - I can think of five right off the top of my head. Anyway, today's card is for grandgirl, Olivia. :)
