Summer fun
Last summer Mila came to stay for a few days while Grace was here. The girls had a blast and we enjoyed having them. Here she is cooling off with the hose in the front yard.
For the title I used My Creative Time's Have Fun in the Sun stamp set, and the frame from Inspiring Words Accents with new curly label die! Isn't it cute?! The sunshine is a Cottage Cutz die.
I used two more sentiments from the Have Fun in the Sun stamp set for an accent piece on these super cute tickets. The tickets are a portion of the ticket border die by Quickutz.
And these cute little flip flops are from the Life's a Beach cricut cartridge. They are so fun to embellish! I used prima flowers, buttons, and metal beads on my pair. I also cut them several times and layered them to make my own faux chipboard embellishment, one of my favorite ways to use die cuts.
Product list:
My Creative Time, Have Fun in the Sun, Inspiring Words Accents stamps
My Creative Time, curly label die
Crate Paper, Paper Dolls collection
Bazzill textured cardstock
Quickutz adhesive-backed cork
Quickutz tickets border die, 0026
Cottage Cutz summer sun die
Prima flowers
Stitches rub-ons
Buttons, metal beads, staples
Stampin' Up ink, Old Olive and Real Red
Ranger Stickles, cinnamon
Thanks for coming by. I hope you're staying cool this summer.....or warm for my friends in Australia! ;)

Tropical Splash...so refreshing!
Tropical is so summer. Splash is so cool on a hot summer day. And the tropical splash release is so refreshing for summer pages and vacation pictures! I love this release.
The view from our balcony at the Outrigger Waikiki overlooking the beach. Title font is Diesel Classic.
Hibiscus border.
Just a portion of the border used as an accent. I love that the centers are separate pieces so you can cut them different colors. I also used the split leaf exclusive die by Archivers for added interest.
Product list:
Lifestyle Crafts Tropical Splash border die
Quickutz Diesel Classic alphabet
Bazzill textured cardstock
DCWV Sweet Stack
I hope you're having a great summer and getting those all-important vaca pics! Maybe you're even lucky enough to be somewhere tropical where you can use this release when you get home. :) Have a great week, where ever you are!

{Deceptively} Sweet Emmy
Emmy enjoyed her "terrible twos" so much she has continued them into her three year. She keeps her mommy, my daughter Sally, on her toes, that's for sure! Like her mommy, Emmy is very good when she's good -- and a real stinker when she's bad. They say we are paid back with our own children for what we did to our parents, and Sally is definitely getting her paybacks. ;) LOL
