Two fairies - and a $ale!!

I love the new Design Elements nesting dies by Spellbinders. I used the largest size in the beaded circle set with the Star Shine fairy stamp from Queen Kat Designs for my project this week. I made the beaded stick pin in matching colors, added prima flowers with bling and a touch of stickles for sparkle. The beaded circle shape makes a great card.

For this winter card, I used the Natures Dreamer fairy with the Quickutz snowflake.

Adorable Buggy Designs Button Bear

I've been loving my copic markers and practicing a lot with shading etc. I decided this time to cut out Button Bear in white cardstock and color it rather than cutting from colored cardstock. If I do say so myself, he really turned out pretty cute, for a first attempt. This coloring thing is fun all over again!

In addition to Scrapbuggy's Button Bear, I've also used QK flower RS0128.



I used stickles on the flower, and on the "belly button" I used clear copic glitter pen.

A new fairy design

Good morning! I hope you had a good weekend. I'm not sure I was ready for it to be over with yet, but here we are on Monday and nothing much we can do about that. LOL

For my project today, I'm sharing this gift box of tea bags using this Amy Brown fairy stamp. She makes a beautiful accent on the cover of the box. I used tea cup paper from the Halloween in Wonderland collection by Graphic 45, and an ornament die for the gift tag. I used the mini pizza box cookie cutter shape by QuicKutz/Lifestyle Crafts Black Friday release for the box, Spellbinders beaded circles to stamp my design, and for the gift tag, the smallest of the QK/LC cookie cutter ornaments, also from the BF release.

Copic coloring, sparkle using copic clear glitter pen, and inking around the edges

Warm buns for the holidays!

I don't know about you but I love dinner rolls.....and warm buns too. We're having snow and it doesn't look like it will end till spring, so warm buns are a thing of the past, I'm afraid, unless Santa brings me a heating pad and a Snuggie! LOL

So for this week's project I've done a layout featuring this photo of my awesome homemade dinner rolls. Sorry it's not a scratch-n-sniff because they smell so delish and taste like heaven. I wish I could share them with you for real!

I've used the Cottage Cutz snowman chef to serve up these yummy gems from my kitchen (in a mini cork version, that is LOL). For the buttons and berries I've used mini bling and for the spatula and serving plate, metallic paper.

Title is done in QK Roxy w/ shadows and Oatmeal alphabets, QK circle, and QK rolling pin from the recipe shapes set.

Do you make homemade goodies more during the holidays, or, are you like me, and love to bake year round? If you don't have a bread machine or KitchenAide stand mixer, I highly recommend adding these items to your Santa list.......be nice and maybe he'll bring you both of them! ;)

Fairy ornament

How was your turkey? I love turkey and pumpkin pie...LOVE. Why I only make it for Thanksgiving and Christmas is a mystery when it's available in the stores year round. LOL

Courtney, age 6, has a special fondness for fairies and ballet. I think she'll like this Beautiful Dancer ornament.
