Back to the beach

Another Hawaii page. There will be quite a few more before the album is done. I'm really enjoying this book. It's the first theme book I've done for myself, believe it or not!

So--for this page I used three different fonts for the title -- Tangerine and Tangerine Shadows, Sonja Classic, and Aquarius mini. Also used the hibiscus, jungle leaf, rev sun, shells, pail and shovel, raindrops and small waves border. Inking, stickles, doodling, and foam tape give lots of dimension.

C is for Cookie

This page is all about leftovers. LOL I used a bunch of leftover pictures that didn't fit on pages of their own, and a few leftover goodies from a kit. The filmstrip is made from the QK squares border--love this!

Lots of fun things here. Felt flowers, ribbon, bling flower, rolling pin, timer, cookie, recipe card, C monogram, cc nesting flowers/scallops, Studio skinny mini, Aquarius and Dragonfly 4x8 alphas. Cookie monster image found online.

Baking Together QuicKitz Kit, more projects

I don't have an apron die (yet) so this one I cut by hand and made to match Gracie's apron. Also used a scallop oval die to cut a "bite" out of the cookie.

A hello/how are ya/whatcha been up to card.

Baking Together QuicKitz Kit

Let's Make Cookies -- The papers and colors in this kit are gorgeous. The scans just can't do them justice. For the sugar in the measuring cup and on the cookies, I used glitter, which looks awesome IRL but again, doesn't translate in the scan, unfortunately. I actually printed a recipe on the recipe card this time too. The cookie dough on the spoon and in the mixing bowl journaling block I cut by hand and accented with doodles and ink.

Journaling reads:
Silly Gracie! We need to bake the cookies before we eat them!
