Pears and Pomegranates

Good morning crafty friends. I hope your week is going smoothly and you're finding time to create. I have moved on from the beach cards -gasp!- and it looks like fall crafting may finally have made its way to the studio. I'm loving my newest purchase! 

From the newest release by Pinkfresh Studio, I had to have these pears and pomegranates. In the craft world, fall is here. 

The sentiment is a combination of two- the first part is included with the pears and pomegranates stamp set, and the second part is by Waffle Flower. I love that their sentiments have the option of dies for their sentiment stamps. The colored edge strips are Passion Fruit and Coral Reef Pinkfresh ink colors. 

Enamel dots and foam tape, my true love. The ornate oval frame die makes a lovely backdrop. I cut it in half and layered the pieces.

When I started this card I was making a vertical design. I like the look of it and it went together well. And then, as I was gluing down the pieces and placing the sentiment, I realized it works, maybe even better, as a horizontal card. Ok then.
