I've missed a lot of challenges but with Christmas coming and making cards anyway, I was able to snag these images from my pile of colored die-cuts to fit this one, so here you go. :) Thanks for looking!

P.S. We're getting ready to head south for the winter so I don't know how much more crafting will be happening on the blog in the next couple of months. World Card Making Day, 2018

Card #4 and last one for the day. This one is for Sketch Challenge #405 at My Favorite Things. I love this plaid paper by Lawn Fawn (discontinued) and colored the girl to match paper. So so cute.

World Card Making Day, 2018

Card #3, I'm on a roll. For this card I used one of the Leading Ladies sets by Ellen Hutson, LLC. These stamp sets are so adorable and I was excited to find Cozy Lady, who is me totally me. Hair on top of head: ME, cozy pants and sweater: ME, slouchy socks, ME, no shoes, ME, and coffee in hand: ME. She couldn't be any me-er unless she were a little chubbier. LOL!!! Anyway, I hope you like her!

Cactus hello

This card is for no special reason. I like the September freebie stamp set from My Favorite Things so much that I just started stamping them with no plan really. LOL These pieces are what I had laying on the table, so I figured I might as well make them into a card. I like it! What do you think?

"Hello" die and cactus stamps from My Favorite Things. Both were freebies this month, so you'll have to watch the store to see if/when they'll be available for purchase! :)

MFT Sketch 402

MFT Sketch Challenge #401

I've missed the last few sketch challenges, but this one is actually on time! Using the September freebie stamp set (adorable cacti, aren't they), here is my entry.

Usually I will stamp a couple of times when using distress inks, but I really liked the look of the distress here so I left them after one impression. It looks almost like diffused light on the sides of the pots, doesn't it. Also, this set does not have coordinating dies, so these are fussy cut (gasp!), something I am not usually fond of doing. LOL!!

And how fun is this?! I received this personalized note with my order. How sweet! This is how awesome the staff is at My Favorite Things. Every single one of them. Really genuinely nice people. 💓Thank you, Danny!

Product list:
My Favorite Things, September freebie stamp set
My Favorite Things, Basic Stitch Lines dies
My Favorite Things, Sweet Tooth ink pad
My Favorite Things, Smooth White cardstock
My Favorite Things, Black Licorice cardstock
Distress Inks; forest moss, peeled paint, salty ocean, seedless preserves, rusty hinge, picked raspberry

Tunnel Card - Halloween style

Thanks to the genius of Jennifer McGuire, I am getting much more comfortable with some new and "fancier than usual" card techniques. Her videos are fabulous and I encourage you to check them out, either on her blog site (linked above) or her youtube channel. Today's halloween card is a tunnel card with an extra little surprise inside. Check it out.

The bat from the My Favorite Things, Witch Way is the Candy set is my fave. Isn't he cute.

The inside is a "tunnel" with lots of fun things tucked into each layer.

The bare tree and stick/branch/bush thingies (technical term) lend a bit of spooky to the scene along with the skull and crossbones. The moon and bats are perfect for a dark Halloween night, and of course the pumpkin is a must.

And the biggest surprise inside -- a glow in the dark moon!!! The photo turned out exceptionally better than I expected it would in the darkness of my bathroom, LOL but isn't it cool?! After several fails, this one turned out pretty good, I'd say.

Thanks for coming by. Comments are welcomed! Be sure to check out the Scrapendipity FB page and Instagram accounts as well.

Lawn Fawn, mini pop up box card

Before I get started, I would like you to know I tried, I really really tried, to get video of this super cute pop up in action. My skills in that area appear to be non-existent. Sigh. Now that that's out of the way, though, here is the card, outside and in, with no action involved. My apologies.

But still, isn't it cute?! This is my newest Lawn Fawn acquisition. Such a fun die and the possibilities are truly endless for all occasions imaginable. I made a fall theme card for my first try at this. It's not at all difficult either. Have fun with it!

Super cute background paper is Lawn Fawn's new release, Knit Picky - Fall. Looks like a cozy sweater. Love!! The adorable images (including the crow on the inside of the card) are by My Favorite Things (linked below).

\

Eeek! Baby beaver in the pop up box is so cute. The sentiments and inside images (except the crow) are by My Creative Time.

Product List:
Lawn Fawn, Mini Pop up Box Die
Lawn Fawn, Let's Polka 6x6 paper pack (not available)
Lawn Fawn, Knit Picky Fall 6x6 paper pack
My Favorite Things, Fall Friends stamps and dies (retired)
My Favorite Things, Smooth White and Summer Splash (not sure this is the correct color I used) cardstock
My Favorite Things, Blueprints #1 (rectangle die) (this may be retired)
My Creative Time, Fall Friends stamp and die set
Copic markers, circle die

Here's a link to one of Lawn Fawn's youtube videos showing this die in use. Check it out to see how the card opens and the little box pops up. Maybe someday I'll get the hang of the video thing. LOL

Paper Smooches, Anything Goes challenge

Feels so good to be back in the craft room. I swear the weather really changes things for me. I guess that's why they call it seasonal depression, aka Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). It really does have a profound affect on those who suffer, even if you don't realize it as it's happening. With the horrid smoke and unhealthy air quality we've had the past several weeks due to wildfires, I've been cooped up inside for so long I didn't realize how badly it was affecting me until now that I'm back to creating again. Yay! :) (See pics at the end of this post.)

So here it is, Anything Goes challenge for Paper Smooches. If you are having a little deja vu, there is a reason. I used a sketch from last week to create this one. I loved the sketch and it was an easy way to use some adorable PS images I had already colored for previous projects that I ended up not using them on. So cute, right?? From the Summer Lovin stamp set.

You may have seen these pics on my Facebook page sharing the comparison of the smoke from last week and then my lovely view of blue skies this morning. Can't tell you how wonderful it is to see the sky again. :) This is Beezley Hill with the public water storage tanks and the radio towers on top seen from my back porch. There is a hiking/biking trail that goes all the way up. (That is the corner of the roof of hubsy's shop on the bottom right of each photo.)

Product List:
Paper Smooches, Summer Lovin stamps and dies
Paper Smooches, Southwestern Charm stamps (rocks at the base of the palm tree)
Doodlebug Design, Sweet Summer 6x6 paper pad
Doodlebug Design, Paradise washi tape
My Favorite Things, Fishtail STAX dies (retired)
Copic markers, foam tape, enamel dots, circle die

UPDATED: MFT Color Challenge #100

I'm so excited to share with you that this card was chosen by My Favorite Things card challenges as one of the "you've been spotted" features for August 28! How fun!!
This one is for the color challenge at My Favorite Things Card Challenges. I used this new Halloween set by Birdie Brown called Frightfully Sweet. The little animals in costume are the cutest ever. Unfortunately though, the sparkly Wink of Stella did not show up in any of my photos. Boo.

The sweet bunny's wings are sparkly in real life. ;)

And the fox's mask and cape are also sparkly.

The set has adorable sentiments included, but for this card I chose a sentiment from the Fab-BOO-lous Friends set from last year, also by Birdie Brown.
