Melonheadz Friends: Twine/Ribbon/Lace Challenge

Welcome to the newest challenge at Melonheadz Friends! This week we are using twine, ribbon, or lace. This adorable fisherman with his pole and creel (basket) are from the "Gone Fishin" digi set by Melonheadz. My card is probably not what you would expect for this one -- I chose to use twine. Can you see it?!

I added twine to the fishing pole just for fun. :)

Here's a closer view.

My husband told me this card could get him in trouble if anyone thinks he is actually bringing home fish....it's catch and release at his fishing hole. LOL I cut these cute little fish from a stamp and added wink of stella and glossy accents before putting them into the fishing creel. ;)

Thanks for coming by. I hope you'll join us for this week's challenge!

Other products used:
My Favorite Things, Warm and Fuzzy Friends stamps and dies (fish, sign)
My Favorite Things, BB Sunflower Sweetheart (sentiment and grass)
My Favorite Things, Blueprints9 (ticket die)
Pattern papers by Colorbok
Wink of Stella glitter pen, glossy accents, copic markers, twine

My Favorite Things, Color Challenge #45

Super fun color combo with My Favorite Things this week (see link at the end of this post). I used the new Snuggle Bunnies release bunny and teddy. Adorbs!

After coloring, I heat embossed the images with clear embossing powder. I love the look it gives plus it makes the die cuts even more sturdy.

The sentiment is also from the Snuggle Bunnies set.

My Favorite Things, Sketch #280

Happy Monday, and welcome to the studio where I have been back to creating. It's been too long since I've felt up to crafting again, but dang, the fibro takes it out of me and the dreary weather doesn't help. Keeping my fingers crossed for more good days than bad! :) Check out details for this challenge at My Favorite Things Card Challenges blog.

Today's card is for the My Favorite Things, Sketch Challenge #280. The plaid and polka dot papers are by My Favorite Things, as well as the stamps and dies I used.

This adorable little girl is from the Birdie Brown set for MFT called Sunflower Sweetheart. I also used the coordinating dies for the stamp set.
