OCC, Day 1 & 2: Watercolor Backgrounds

Loving the watercolor class at Online Card Classes this month! I'm a little behind in sharing my finished cards, and here we are on Day 3, so I'll share what I have finished up to this point all right here in this one blog post so I can head over to class and get busy on my Day 3 homework. ;)

Card 1: Vibrant watercolor background using Distress Inks.
Picked raspberry; spiced marmalade; squeezed lemonade; peacock feathers. Stamps are by Paper Smooches, We Totally Click stamp set.

Card 2: Soft Watercolor Background with Embossing Resist.
Crayola watercolor set. Background stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps; sentiment die and stamp by Paper Smooches, Birthday Words dies and Sentiment Sampler stamps.

Card 3: Stenciled watercolor background.
Daler Rowney Simply Watercolor tube paints; primary blue and violet. Tim Holtz Burlap stencil. Butterfly stamp by Inkadinkadoo; sentiment by Verve Stamps, Sunny Days set; sentiment block by My Creative Time, 4x4 journaling + more stitched square die.

Thanks for checking them out. If you haven't taken an online card class before, I highly recommend OCC. The designers/teachers are great and the videos and samples are top notch!
