Wednesday Inspiration

I don't know about you but I am inspired....by just about everything around me! I have so many ideas in my head that sometimes I can't make a thing and other times I can't work fast enough to get the ideas down before they are lost in the jumble of my brain. LOL Today's card is inspired by a lovely design I saw on pinterest. Unfortunately, I'm unable to give proper credit to the designer as the image does not link to a blog or any place useful. Regardless, this design is not my own, but I thought is was worthy of borrowing for my similar card.

There is no patterned paper on my card. I used instead three designs of washi tape in coordinating colors. I really need to use it more often. It really packs a punch on a sparse background, don't you think? The flower is handmade using My Creative Time, Rolled flower die. This one is two cuts in order to make a larger flower. See those leaf stems peeking out from behind? Those little gems are going to be in the next release -- coming this month!

Behind the flower are I used two of the Stitched Sweetheart dies, and my sentiment is from a previous release, Color Me Happy. Add a twine bow and pearl beads and, voila! Done. :)

Thanks for looking. Be sure to check out the other designer blogs for their inspired projects. Happy crafting. ♥
