Inspire Me Tuesday

Inspiration....it comes from EVERYWHERE. As a crafter, I've been asked many times, "where do you get your inspiration?" The answer is very simple, really. I'm inspired by everything around me in one way or another. It's kind of like the saying, "use it or lose it". The more you use your creative thinking, the more you'll be inspired. Take a look at your junk mail one day...sometimes the way the ads are placed on the page, or the colors on a magazine cover might spark an idea for a card layout. Sometimes a commercial on tv will lead to a scrapbook page. Today's layout for example, was inspired by scrolling through pinterest (happens all the time LOL), and the title inspired by THIS--one of my favorite games.  I LOVE word games! The other night I scored one of my all time high scoring words....zooms for 144 points. {Sorry Gia! ;)}

Using My Creative Time dies and stamps, I borrowed the game design for my title. Love it! This huge fish, 31 inch King salmon, was caught by my son, and netted by his daughter, Courtney, pictured here with a grin almost as big as this fish. LOL Of course, Logan had to help hold the fish for the photo op. These kids love fishing as much as their dad and grampa do.

The die cut letters are the Snowday mini font by Quickutz.

Die cuts are so much fun to use for embellishments. I've used MCT hexies, hearts, speech bubble, file folder and more. Love the versatility offered by Emma's fabulous products.

Ok crafty peeps. Go out there and be inspired! :) Thanks for joining us to see what inspiration brought to the design team this week.
