Interactive mini album - 3D Wednesday!

Warning: PHOTO HEAVY!  I tried to consolidate but still there are a lot of photos for this very interactive album. Without all the photos, there is no way to see the coolness of this design by Elsa JustafewDesigns. I saw her video on youtube and fell in love with her technique. It's so much fun to make and really not difficult at all to do, but let's get started, there's a lot to cover.

First, of course, the cover of the book. Look closely, those are indeed, real feathers! Straight from my hubby's hobby room, real turkey feathers. Awesome. Of course no self-respecting mini-book of mine would be complete without some of my paper flowers, as well. To bind this book, I used my trusty pink Bind it All.

The first collage photo shows the cover, inside pages and the ribbon closure from the back looping around to the front with a Tim Holtz hitch post. Those things are so awesome.

Next are the first pages inside. They look pretty basic until you start unfolding. In the first two pages alone there are three photo mats, four tags, and two pockets.

On the left is the next page as you open the book, which holds another tag. On the right you see the page folded out revealing three more tags, two more pockets, and photo mat.

Up next is another pocket page with tag; folded open on the right is another tag and photo mat.
Another pocket page with three tags and plenty of room to tuck away more photos or keepsakes.

Opposite the pocket page is a removable photo mat (most of them are removable so additional pictures can be added behind as well.) when opened up (below left) reveals two more photo mats. Fold it up and turn the page (upper right) and there are three more tags in this little pocket. Fold that page down and you have another removable photo mat, a large pocket and journaling tag.

Tags and close up of cool Mr. Fix It embelly, complete with hammer brad!

And still not done! One page, though it may look boring, is another photo mat which folds up to reveal yet another photo mat, a pocket page with a third photo mat, and another pocket with two more tags. Whew!

So there's the entire book--5 pages, and I didn't even do a separate cover. All in all there are 12 photo mats, plus room for even more photos, 19 tags some of which can also be used for photos, and 9 pockets! If I were to list all the products used, I'd be here another week, so rather than list each one, please leave any questions in your comments and I'll address them there. :)
