Scrapping the little things

quick note: malware issues have been fixed and blogger has taken care of some issues that were doing weird things to my posts and pictures. If you didn't notice, yay! If you did, they've been resolved, yay! Sorry for any inconvenience. We're back in business now so carry on......

Welcome to Monday. I hope you had a pleasant Easter weekend. On Mondays we do our scrapbook layouts, Project Life or Smash Books at My Creative Time, and I've been trying to get better at the 'smash' look so one day I might venture into my pile of Smash supplies. Yes. I admit it. I hoard. {shameful} I have tons of Smash goodies and fear of messing up my book by putting stuff in it. It's pitiful. Sigh. Layouts, on the other hand, I have no problem with, so I'm working at adding smash to my pages. Hope it rubs off soon onto my books cuz there is new stuff out there now that I want and, as every good crafter knows, you can't justify new till you use what you got! ;)

My page today features my prankster grandgirl, Mila. Is she a hoot or what. This kid is generally quiet and pensive, an artist with amazing talent for her age, and is more a doer than a "talking about it-er". When daughter Sally shared this pic, I nearly wet my pants laughing. Not only the hump, but the nose and glasses....hilarious. She's so pretty normally. Hahaha.

Title letters by My Creative Time, Fun Alphabet, lowercase; and Just Simply Live stamps.

Fun tags just because. Sentiment again from Just Simply Live set. The 'hand' is from Cherish This Moment.

Vintage label and stitched ticket dies. 'One of a Kind' sentiment from More of My Favorite Sayings; arrow stamp from Just Simply Live.

More fun tags because I wanted a banner on this page. :)
... and even more tags. This banner was so much fun. I actually made three more tags, but it was too long. LOL They'll turn up on some other page, most definitely.

  7. I love when these moments are captured! My middle son was constantly doing things like this when he was younger and we were going through roll after roll of film daily. At some point, we figured he was so hilarious that we could never forget those moments, (and we couldn't keep up with the expense of developing film), so we stopped taking pictures. All these years later, we try to recount these times to him, but can only recall our response to them. So sad.
I'm glad you've documented this, as much for you as for her, in this bright layout. I love all the tags too!
