Live in the moment

I made this layout for a challenge at ACOT. The color is actually green, rather muted, so it doesn't photograph well. Plus part of it is glitter paper and that doesn't show either, so use your imagination and pretend you can see it for reals in your head, ok. LOL Hope you like!

This is my first grand, Jeffery, at last year's family campout. I hope he appreciates how lucky he is to be so musically inclined. He started with trumpet in the high school band, moved to trombone because they needed one, and then moved on to tuba at the teacher's request. He gets his musical ability from his grandpa who can pick up pretty much any instrument and play like he knows what he's doing even if he's never played that one before. Me, I can't even read music. I have a pretty good singing voice but I'll only sing when I think no one is listening.

My newest flower. I like how this one turned out. Dogwood, that matches to the background paper of my layout. I have a little work to do to make it a little more polished but for my first one, I'm pretty ok with it. :)
