Peanut Butter Pie

Oh my heck! Let me preface this by saying I do not like peanut butter. Yeah. Weird, I know. My mom eats it by the spoonful. I don't like chocolate either, but that's beside the point. Needless to say, I had never had peanut butter pie before....before I made this last weekend that is. Anyway, let me just say, before I even put it together, the what's-left-in-the-bowl was mighty tasty!!!! It's definitely one I will be making again....this weekend again I think. Hubs loved it too!  :)

Voila! Finished pie. How long now till dinner time????

Peanut Butter Pie
1 baked pie shell
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
12 oz. cool whip
Combine peanut butter, sugar and cream cheese. Mix in cool whip and beat for 5-8 minutes until light and fluffy. Pour into pie shell. Garnish with shaved chocolate or broken mini peanut butter cups. Refrigerate at least 3-4 hours.

Updated: Here's the one I just put in the fridge. One individual size bag of the mini-mini pb cups for garnish.
