Sew, I'm crafty

It's finally here. The latest QuicKutz release, Be Crafty, has arrived. :)

The cute little sewing machine, Rev 0322, makes it easy to do a play on words "sew" I used it here with the dress form. I used the Cosmo Cricket "Material Girl" papers. I love the scissor background paper, and if you look closely, you can see on the journaling paper the image of little girls' clothing patterns. Perfect for the crafty dies in this new release!

I printed my message using an open style font and added "stitches" with a marker to make them appear sewed on. Like the font? Cute, isn't it! Snag it here free! For texture and dimension, I added buttons, fabric paint.....

and actual fabric to my pink skirt and to the machine as if I am sewing the ruffle.

For my layout, I used the camera, Rev 0323, slightly modified to look more like my own. This is one die you can use on every page if you wanted to. After all, displaying our photos is what scrapping is all about, right. :) I also used the medium sized scallop edger and, for the journaling strips, Rev. 0011 - four-inch border. Title font is QK Katie Classic, upper case.
